Why Eco Friendly Paint Required?
In 2008, according to the Center for Science and the Environment, it found that up to 72% of the tested samples contained lead samples that far exceeded the permissible limits set by the Bureau of Indian Standards. The regulatory authority of India requires those companies that will follow the measures and do not exceed the limit set up by them.
According to the research, most regular paints contain toxic chemicals, notably lead, which can be very harmful to humans if exposed to fumes. It is very harmful to children, as lead paint can reduce their intelligence.
The only hope was that some large companies would offer toxic-free paints, but still, most companies continued selling harmful lead-based paints. They only think of their profits rather than their customer’s health.
Keeping this in mind, the paint developed by KVIC is Eco friendly and lead-free, and it will help reduce the amount of chemical-based stains and the health risks caused by them.

It can cause various health issues and can lower our children’s IQ level. Apart from that, they are very costly also. So, there are lots of disadvantages to these paints. But, if we talk about cow dung paint, it has many good properties that I have already discussed above. It is cheap and Eco friendly. It doesn’t give any harm to us.
